Advent Worship & Dinners

Worship with us each Wednesday evening during the Advent season:

December 4, 11, & 18 at 7:00 PM.

 

Join us prior to worship for Advent Dinner at 6:00 PM each Advent Wednesday in the Great Room.  This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and enjoy a delicious meal with your family.

Christmas Care & Share

Christmas Care and Share adopts families within the community who are in need to assist in providing Christmas gifts and other necessities.  If you are interested in adopting a family or volunteering there are many opportunities to do so.

 

A list of families to adopt is available in our church lobby or you may contact the church office.

 

Volunteers are needed to purchase personal care items. Check the poster in the Lobby or contact the church office. . Each slip represents about $10 worth of products.

 

Volunteers are needed to help with setup on Friday, December 13 and/or Distribution on Saturday, December 14. 

 

If you able to help or need assistance volunteering, please call Mike Bolsoni or the Church Office.

 

Finally, if you have already adopted a family or individual, please return your gifts to the Peace Lobby by Sunday, December 8.

All men are invited to join us Saturday, December 7 at 8:00 AM for our monthly Men's Breakfast.  Feel free to invite a friend!

Sunday, December 8

Lessons & Carols

Your family is invited to enjoy a special worship concert on Sunday morning, December 8 at both our services (8:15 & 10:45 AM).

 

Our Peace Choir and Orchestra will share beautiful Advent & Christmas music. We will hear readings from scripture about the birth of our Messiah, Jesus Christ.

 

This is a festive worship experience that all ages will love. Feel free to invite friends and family to come.

 

Saturday, December 21

Christmas Pancake & PJ Party

Mark your calendars for Christmas party fun in December!

 

The whole family is invited to dress up in their Christmas PJs or silly slippers and join us for a pancake breakfast! This event is free. We will have pancakes with your choice of fun toppings, sausage, juice, fruit, and a hot chocolate bar. There will be games and story time. Each child will receive a Christmas Activity bag,

 

Join us on Saturday, December 21 anytime from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Feel free to invite the whole family and grandparents, too!

Youth Group (MS & HS School)

Join us for Youth Group on Sunday, December 8 from 3 to 5 PM.  

 

Our theme will be Youth Story Time.

Everyone has a story to tell. Have you every thought about what your story is? Join us as we talk about our store with a festive twist.

 

All Middle and High School students are invited to attend and bring a friend!  

 

Our youth group meets twice a month for bible study, fun activities, and community time!  Click here for a full schedule of future events.

Sunday, December 22

Steel Band Christmas Worship

A wonderful tradtion at Peace is our Steel Band Christmas service each year.  Our own Peace Steel Band will lead us in worship on Sunday, December 22 at both worship services - 8:15 & 10:45 AM.  We will sing both advent and Christmas hymns with a Caribbean style.  Join us and invite your family!

Children's Church

Children's Church is offered each Sunday at both our 8:15 and 10:45 AM services. Please note that we are going back to our normal worship times. 

 

We are asking all parents to register their children for Children's Church. We want to update our information and having everyone register will help us do that. You can click on this link and fill out the registration form online or pick up a registration form in the lobby.

Each Sunday Morning

Fall Sunday Adult Bible Study

Join us for Adult Bible Study each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Over the next several weeks, we will walk through Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount found in the Gospel of Matthew. Our Sunday morning teaching team will explore Jesus’ longest recorded message as we gain an understanding of what it means to follow Christ. 

 

Enjoy coffee, donuts, and fellowship before class begins. Everyone is invited!

 

Every Wednesday Morning

Coffee Break (Weekday Men's Study)

Join Pastor Marty for a new Men's Bible study beginning this fall called Coffee Break on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.Our study is a walk-throu on the Gospel of Luke.  

This time coincides with our women's bible study offering so couples can take advantage of coming together!

 

Our study will break for the holidays and resume January 15, 2025
