We believe that everyone should have a place of worship and grow in faith. At Peace, we work to provide those age-appropriate opportunities for children while making them feel very much a part of our church family.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

(GRADES PK - 5)

Worship & Learning Just for Kids!

Children's Church is available for Preschool through Grade 5 at both of our worship services:  (8:15 & 10:45 AM) from September to May.  

**Children's Church is on Summer Break.  However, during the summer we have a special Children's Message and Activity Bags available during our worship services.**

We want children to experience worship with their families but also have time to learn at their age level.  At Peace, our new Children's Church will create space for both!  Children will begin worshiping with their families in the sanctuary and then be invited to join Children's Church during the service after opening worship.  Registration is required for children attending Children's Church.  Registration cards are available at the Welcome Center for those who have not registered online or are visiting.

What to Expect at Children's Church...

  • Children should sit with their families at the beginning of worship in the sanctuary. 
  • When children are invited to go to Children's Church, they will meet up with our volunteers who will lead them to Room 305.
  • Children will have a chance to interact with each other and build relationships.
  • Each week, children will enjoy music, storytime, activities, crafts, and games all centered around a lesson that helps each child to grow in their faith and knowledge that they are loved by a real and present God.
  • We ask that parents wait until Children's Church has concluded before picking up their child(ren).  Children's Church concludes at 9:15 AM & 11:45 AM.
  • Children will only be released to their parents or other designated adult.  
  • If parents are needed for any reason during Children's Church, we will send a text message to that parent.
  • Children are always welcome to bring friends.  Please have any guests fill out a Children's Church attendance card at the Welcome Center and bring it with them to Children's Church.

PeaceKids! Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday, March 29 at 8:15 & 10:45 AM

This year we will host our Easter Egg Hunt for the children during Children's Church. Children will come to Children's church during the service (after the children's message) and we will have a special Easter celebration party and hide eggs on the playground for them to find. Each child will receive a special Easter bag that will hold all the eggs they find. 

 

No RSVP needed. We are looking forward to having some Easter fun with the children.

Our VBS is growing! We will need many volunteers for VBS this year. If you can help, we would love to have you! Areas of help needed: Preschool/Kindergarten Helpers, Elementary Crew Leaders, Kitchen Helpers, Registration/Check-in Helpers, etc. Please reach out to Katherine Richards if you can volunteer.
